Introduction of cultural relics

Dragon-shaped jade pendant was unearthed in the eastern end of the 5th chamber and made of Hetian white jade. The "S" shaped dragon is carved with the techniques of bas-relief and penetrating carving. The middle arch of the "S" shaped dragon is square with a hole for wearing. The body of the dragon is plump, with open mouth and teeth, and the body is decorated with interlocking vortex lines. The claws are simplified and deformed, and the tail of the dragon is shaped like a phoenix tail. The dragon body is decorated with carved cloud patterns, which make the dragon surrounded by auspicious clouds, giving people the feeling of flying in the sky. This style of dragon head and phoenix tail was very rare in Han dynasty, and the square of the "S" shaped dragon body echo with the graceful and smooth phoenix tail, so that the pattern is not rigid and weak but smooth and upright. The whole dragon iguana hair is flying, majestic, which shows the power and momentum and equipped with the  typical style of jade dragon in the early stage of West Han dynasty.
