Introduction of cultural relics

Zhu Da (1626-1705), whose given name was Tong, and pseudonym was Xuege, Geshan, or Ba Da Shan Ren, was native of Nanchang, and the descendent of Zhu Quan, who was the King of Ning in the Ming Dynasty. Renowned as the four painting monks in early Qing Dynasty, he was engaged in calligraphy and painting, and his style has great influences on the ink wash freehand paintings afterwards. ThisAlbum of Plum Blossoms, created in 1677, represents a simple use of brush and ink and a unique charm. Therefore, it is regarded as a valuable material for the study of Zhu Da's lifetime and calligraphy and paintings in his early years.
